Breast Lift
A breast lift (also known as mastopexy) is an aesthetic surgical procedure aimed to improve the shape of the breast by lifting and tightening the breast tissue and removing redundant skin:
It can restore a youthful, fuller appearance of your breasts
It can help improve the shape of the breasts that have changed due to weight loss
It can help improve breast symmetry
It is important to note that this procedure does not aim to change the size/ volume of the breasts.
A breast lift involves incisions around the areola, vertically down the breast from the areola, and in some cases - horizontally underneath the breast. The procedure removes excess skin, tightens the underlying breast tissue with stitches, and moves the nipples to a higher position to match the new breast contour.
A breast lift can take 2 to 3 hours to perform and you can go home the same day. After the surgery, you will be required to wear a supportive surgical bra for 6 - 8 weeks.
